Human resource business partner Chia Hui Mian is a highly dedicated and passionate HR professional who works closely with team members across different job levels. As part of the SBS Transit human resource family, Hui Mian provides generalist support and advises employees on HR-related policies and programs, including staying up to date with regulatory changes.
As an HR practitioner, Hui Mian emphasises building a good, conducive and safe working environment and culture where SBS Transit’s people can thrive and fulfil their potential. The organisation’s strategic service initiative, CARES — which inspires all employees to be caring, agile, reliable, safe and secure, both towards their fellow employees and their customers — forms the strong foundation of their guiding values and culture in their journey together.

Prior to Hui Mian’s current role, she worked in several industries, from leisure and recreation to healthcare. In May 2019, she joined SBS Transit, serving the public transportation sector and bringing valuable insights and progressive HR practices into the organisation.
