Connie Barrientos-Carey started her career in 2005 as a bulk recruiter for major contact centers. Due to a natural curiosity and love of learning, she explored several career trajectories, such as being a trainer and special education teacher, and working in human resources, operations management, medical insurance, and social services.
Carey’s greatest passion lies in working for social justice, particularly equity. She has founded and supported social enterprises and is currently working with an organization that helps homeless families and those at risk of homelessness. Her experience in career counseling comes to the fore when assisting individuals in their effort to secure new jobs.
