Vanessa Hicks is TPG Telecom’s Group Executive, People Experience. She is responsible for organisational culture, leadership, diversity, business partnering, internal communications, work health safety and facilities.
TPG Telecom is an ASX Top 50 company that provides telecommunications services to consumer, enterprise, government and wholesale customers in Australia. The Group employs approximately 6,000 people across Australia, Guam and the Philippines.
With a belief that the success of the organisation and its people, customers, stakeholders and communities are inextricably linked, Vanessa ensures all aspects of the employee lifecycle are equally balanced between enabling a human-centred culture and business outcomes.
Vanessa has been a board member of the TPG Telecom Foundation (formerly the Vodafone Foundation) since 2010 and has served as chair from February 2022. She has played an active role in the Foundation’s strategy to maximise positive community impact. She has also served as an advisory board member of the Telco Together Foundation since 2017.
TPG Telecom has been awarded as an Employer of Choice and achieved recognition for creating LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace.
