At Transport for NSW, we’re making New South Wales (NSW) a better place to live, work and visit by connecting people and communities and making journeys safer, easier and more reliable. We lead the group of transport agencies and divisions that keep NSW moving. With over 27,000 people working right across NSW, we drive the development of safe, integrated and efficient transport systems such as road, rail and maritime networks.
If you think Transport is home only to engineers, tradies and mechanics, think again. We’ve got roles from drone operators to graphic designers, crash lab technicians to boating safety officers, bridge engineers to demand planners, and all kinds of experts in between. We’re committed to delivering better transport for the future of NSW, shaping our cities and communities for generations to come.
Right now, we’re delivering the largest transport infrastructure program in Australia’s history. That means more job opportunities than ever before in metropolitan and regional areas across the state. Our customers are at the centre of everything that we do, including transport planning and policy across all modes of transport – roads, rail, bus, ferries and light rail. From July 2020 to June 2021, our customers made over 468.7 million trips across all modes of transport.
“We continue to see cyber as a key opportunity and will be further developing customer-centric solutions across various geographies and segments in line with our growth aspirations”
