Elissa Fletcher joined Energy One as Global Head of People & Culture in October 2022. The ASX-listed company provides software and services for the wholesale energy market globally.
In this role, Elissa is focused on building a purpose-led business that is facilitating the renewable energy revolution. Above all, Elissa views exceptional employee experiences as a way to build healthy cultures and commercial success.
She has over 20 years of experience as a leader and HR practitioner across technology, digital media, finance and professional services. Her previous role was leading a team of more than 35 HR practitioners globally with a focus on employee experience, technology enablement, learning and business transformation for Bravura Solutions, a financial services software company.
Over the course of her career, Elissa has remained focused and driven to pursue her ambitions. However, at certain stages, she has worked four-day weeks to raise a family and also follow her other passion of small business ownership.
Having transitioned from finance to technology in 2012, Elissa has built up extensive experience leading talent acquisition and system implementations, growing teams of tech-savvy HR professionals. Adopting a human-centered design approach, her style is focused on re-thinking all things people. Elissa encourages curiosity, creativity and bold ideas. She celebrates a culture of empathising, experimenting and high-value delivery.
Elissa is known for implementing commercial, data-informed, innovative solutions that transform business operations, setting them up for scale. She is also a passionate change agent who reimagines operations, delivers quality systems and new ways of working and is motivated by enabling others to develop, collaborate and celebrate each other’s successes.
Her overarching professional goal is to inspire a new breed of leaders and HR practitioners who operate with empathy, creativity and curiosity.
