Jeff Cates serves as CEO and president of Achievers, an industry-leading employee voice and recognition solution that accelerates a culture of performance. After being appointed CEO, Cates quickly led Achievers to new product and global growth. His passion for creating environments where employees can do the best work of their lives has helped Achievers receive multiple employer awards: Top 50 Best Workplaces in Canada, Best Workplaces for Women, and Best Workplaces for Inclusion.
Cates was formerly the CEO and president of Intuit Canada, leading the growth of the company’s TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Mint brands since 2011. During his tenure, the company was named a top Great Place to Work in Canada year after year and was also recognized as a top employer for women and millennials leading in diversity initiatives.
Prior to joining Intuit, Cates led Apple Canada’s enterprise business and served as vice president of Hewlett Packard’s consumer division.

Matt Seadon is the managing director of Asia-Pacific at Achievers, an industry-leading provider of employee recognition and engagement solutions. Joining the company in 2018, Seadon is responsible for the Asia-Pacific and EMEA businesses, including sales and client service teams in Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore and London.
With nearly two decades of industry experience under his belt, Seadon is a specialist in social-based recognition, and has previously held senior management positions in some of the world’s leading organisations across Asia. His experience spans both business-to-business and business-to-consumer channels, and his skillset includes operations management, market strategy planning, as well as building and sustaining effective teams.
Seadon holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Computer Science degree from Deakin University.

Michael Cohen is an intrapreneur and product leader with over a decade of experience in innovation and product-based roles. A business-minded lawyer with 20+ years of experience in both private practice and industry, she has advised clients in many industries including SaaS, technology, manufacturing, broadcasting and communications. Gaetano joined Achievers in 2011 and has progressed through various leadership roles, including director of customer success, senior director of revenue operations and chief transformation officer.

With 12+ years as vice president of marketing at rapid growth software (SaaS) companies, Hocevar has extensive experience leading product marketing, content and communications, and demand generation teams, including geographically dispersed teams in Asia, South America, and EMEA while based in Singapore. Hocevar also has a broad technology background with several years of functional work experience in sales, services and consulting.

As the chief technology officer at Achievers, Ray Payette leads the engineering, IT, SRE and infosec organization and has overarching responsibility for technology strategy for the Achievers platform. Prior to joining Achievers, Payette served as VP of information development at Intrado, leading over 300 engineers for more than 10 products in seven countries, accounting for over $1 billion in revenue. With over 25 years of experience in all aspects of leadership “including development, product management and M&A,” Payette has a proven track record for growing innovative enterprise software and SaaS companies.
