Dynamic Leadership Programs Australia (DLPA) is an award-winning social enterprise helping other companies to thrive through its signature solutions that follow the themes of profit, people, and proficiency.
As a leading provider of bespoke leadership programs focused on business sustainability and profitability, it helps its clients understand that talented people, a strong work culture, and ethics drive performance.
Its standout reputation and business impact have been recognised twice with an HRD Australia and New Zealand Service Providers award: a gold medal for learning and development in 2023 and a silver medal for talent management, learning, and development in 2022.
As a social enterprise, DLPA prides itself on specialising in the non-people side of the business. They achieve that mandate by advising on the structural sides of a business and training individuals who aim for meaningful, long-term employment. At least 60% of company profits go back into supporting this cause.
Managing director Karlie Cremin notes that over the past two years, DLPA has mainly focused on the social impact of its activities, which has had its rewards and challenges. However, this transition to a social enterprise has successfully demonstrated to clients that it operates differently.
“When we started focusing on realising social impact, we had no idea how difficult it was going to be helping disadvantaged individuals find meaningful employment pathways,” she explains. “We have now put in the hard yards to get it right and have learned from our mistakes. We are proud to have become a certified social trader.”
Cremin founded the company in 2016 and has extensive experience crafting strategies and business models that are second to none. From construction and non-profits to government bodies and imports, her well-honed business consultation skills enable her to create tailored leadership programs that yield impressive results.
“The key thing clients will notice is our appetite for working with them to co-create programs, should they wish to be involved. This, coupled with our extensive library of modules, means the programs will be tailored and relevant”

Laurel McLay brings a background in recruitment, coaching, team facilitation, and mentoring. She co-facilitates various programs with Cremin, and together, they have distinguished their work as bespoke and intimate, ensuring a return on investment for clients and their people.
“The key thing clients will notice is our appetite for working with them to co-create programs, should they wish to be involved,” Cremin remarks. “This, coupled with our extensive library of modules, means the programs will be tailored and relevant.”
DLPA aims to inspire positive change within organisations that pursue holistic success for their leaders and employees. By implementing DLPA’s programs, teams can become bonded and aligned on their purpose and goals.
“We make it a point to study what a company needs before creating programs,” adds Cremin. “The DLPA programs address a company’s specific concerns, whether it’s leadership development, women empowerment, workforce strategy, or compliance.”
Over the coming year, DLPA will continue to work to deliver excellent value to its clients. Cremin states the focus on social enterprise will continue, and the company will look at increased automation to support this.
“Our most important strategy has been our focus on changing lives for good, which sits at the heart of everything we do, ensuring we all have a shared mission,” remarks Michalak. “By keeping this at the centre of what we do, we can ensure that we are continually innovating and improving to help our clients ensure their people are getting better health outcomes, higher engagement, building a strong culture and supporting whole-person wellbeing.”
Virgin Pulse’s client-centric focus ensures everything it endeavours to do is in service of customer success. It achieves this by using advanced technology to build the ultimate employee experience that supports clients’ and members’ health, wellbeing, and benefits needs throughout their lifecycle. This includes everything from screening and assessment to condition management and digital therapeutics.
The company values technology and innovation and listens to clients, industry trends, and their data to effectively plan and continue learning.
