Claudia Ursache is a senior HR executive with more than 17 years of leadership experience in the aerospace industry. As HR director at MTU Maintenance Canada, she leads human resources and technical training for an organization of more than 650 employees, providing strategic leadership across workforce planning, organizational development, talent management, labour relations, leadership development, employee engagement, and culture.
Throughout her career, Ursache has been passionate about developing people and creating opportunities for others to grow and succeed. As the only woman on MTU Canada’s executive leadership team, she has championed initiatives that strengthen women’s representation and leadership, including establishing a Women in Leadership Program and mentoring emerging leaders across the organization.
Ursache recently completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, expanding her expertise in emotional intelligence, resilience, psychological safety, and human behaviour. She brings together strategic business leadership and a deep understanding of people, believing that meaningful leadership is measured not only by organizational results but also by the confidence, growth, and opportunities we create for others.
