Nick Caprio joined Rexall in June 2018 as senior vice president and chief operating officer. Since then, he has been appointed as COO and GM in April 2019, and then president of Rexall in 2020. He began his career as a pharmacist at Pharmaprix in 1990, and became the company’s owner a year later.
He brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the health care and retailing sectors to the company. Nick received his Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Montreal and a Minor in BSc, Chemistry. He graduated from the Health Sciences program of Marianopolis College.

Frank Monteleone began his journey with Rexall in 2008 as director of human resources. He is a seasoned HR professional who has held executive roles including vice president, HR and OE, and senior director, HR, leading up to his senior executive position at Rexall. He has been an active member of the Rexall Care Network since 2018 as well as its president and chair. Previously, he held various roles in HR with Indigo Books & Music and Highland Farms grocery.

Mona Sabharwal joined Rexall in 2016 as vice president, industry and regulatory affairs. She is an expert in pharmacy practice with over 20 years of experience, previously as executive director with pan-Canadian Oncology Drug Review and the Ontario Ministry of Health & Long-term Care. She brings extensive knowledge of the industry as a registered pharmacist and health care leader. Mona is an alumna of the University of Toronto.

Ahmed Shariff has celebrated 12 years with Rexall since joining in 2010 as senior director of IT operations and JDE financial systems. Prior to joining Rexall, he brought over a decade of professional experience, notably as IT director, to IBM. Ahmed is an alumnus of the University of Liverpool and holds a Master of Sciences degree in IT.

Joyce Lee joined Rexall Pharmacy Group in 2014 as vice president of finance. Prior to starting with Rexall, she held senior executive roles in notable Canadian restaurant and grocery companies, including vice president, finance at Cara Operations and vice president, financial reporting at Loblaw. Joyce is an alumna of the University of Waterloo and has a Chartered Professional Accountant designation.

Mary is an alumna of Ohio State University, graduating with at Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
