In its four decades of operation, SUB60 Couriers has built a reputation for looking after its people and providing a culture where employees live by their company values and see them demonstrated every day. By having regular values-based, employee-led conversations, successes – whether big or small – are recognised, shared and celebrated. With the implementation of an HRIS system in 2021, technology has been introduced into many areas of SUB60’s people initiatives. While the company is able to take its strength-based recruitment and onboarding to the next level, the data outcomes are starting to prove valuable and will assist in making informed decisions on plans such as diversity and inclusion initiatives. One such initiative underway is creating journey stories both professionally and personally. These stories are designed to show that not every path is the same, yet people similarly overcome obstacles and achieve success. All members of the SUB60 team are encouraged to be leaders in their own roles and collectively, they are all responsible for the goal of making each day better. This approach became paramount during the pandemic. The SUB60 team continues to be dynamic at work, relentlessly delivering essential services for the benefit of all customers and stakeholders.
